Impulse Gel has a slightly thinner consistency than other carp gels, designed for use with smaller amounts of bait such as PVA bags, method feeders or directly into a spomb.

  1. Make up a solid or mesh PVA bag
  2. Remove the lid from the bottle
  3. Either:
    Inject your solid bag with Impulse Gel
    Liberally coat your mesh bag with Impulse Gel, or
    Dip or glug your hookbait with Impulse Gel
    Cast your line and see how many more bites you get.

Additional information

  • Avoid using any other amino acid products (such as hydros) simultaneously with Impulse Gel.
  • Impulse Gel can be used (and even excel) under the harshest temperature extremes because it is a carp attractant, prompting fish to feed even when they normally wouldn't.
  • You literally can’t overuse Impulse Gel. Thanks to the proprietary multi-amino acid blend, you will never see the ‘overstimulation’ effect that you can get with single amino acid products. Not only that, but Impulse is food-grade, so even large quantities won’t harm aquatic (or human) life.

The science behind the solution

Impulse Gel's multi-amino acid blend targets a specific class of chemoreceptor sites at the fishes' olfactory organ, making it irresistible to carp and other fish. Impulse is unique amongst amino acid feeding stimulants because it combines multiple amino acids. It is this multi-amino blend that makes Impulse more effective than single-amino stimulants, because it eliminates the ‘zombie-fish’ effect caused by over-stimulation. You can introduce larger volumes of bait, and no longer need to worry about precision-dosing your fish attractant gel. In a study conducted by Sparsholt College, Impulse was shown to outperform untreated carp baits at a ratio of 2.2:1.

Applications

    PVA Solid/Mesh bag

    Use Impulse Gel with PVA bags. You can inject Impulse Gel directly into solid PVA bags or coat mesh PVA bags with a liberal amount of Impulse Gel.

    Hookbait Soak

    You can also use Impulse Gel as a dip or glug for your preferred hookbait or feed. Hookbaits should be liberally dipped or glugged with Impulse Gel.

    Sweetcorn

    Sweetcorn is a commonly used and vibrant bait, which makes it a perfect carrier for Impulse Liquid. Simply add 30+mL of Impulse to a can of corn and refrigerate overnight prior to use.

    Impulse is PVA friendly. Use it as a dip or spray with any PVA product.
